Gilgeous-Alexander scores 20 pts in 80th straight game
With another 20-point outing, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has moved past Oscar Robertson and is now closing in on Wilt Chamberlain’s legendary scoring streaks.
Against the Los Angeles Clippers, the Oklahoma City Thunder star tallied 30 points and 12 assists, marking his 80th straight regular-season game with at least 20 points — the third-longest streak in NBA history.
Robertson’s mark ended at 79 in 1964, while Chamberlain reached 126 and 92 in his two runs. Gilgeous-Alexander’s streak began on November 1, 2024, and his last sub-20 game was October 30.
