Bread makers move to tackle productivity, profitability drop
Premium Bread Makers Association of Nigeria (PBAN) has disclosed its plan to tackle the lack of productivity and profitability among its members.
The association attributed the drop to the economic squeeze impacting on breadmaking business.
In an effort to bring stability, the association has scheduled its 3rd PBAN Day-Out to address the dynamics of business in contemporary times and assist both its members and non members.
The Day-Out scheduled for Thursday, 13th November, 2025 at the NECA Auditorium will feature exhibitions from key players in the sector to aid in positioning members for better productivity.
According to the association’s President, Engineer Emmanuel Onuorah, this edition will offer strategic sessions that will be addressed by professionals and technical experts in the field.
“This year’s PBAN Day-Out, third in the series, is expected to draw cross participants from value value-added baking business sector with a view to turning around the hitherto lull in projections”.
Onuorah hinted that stakeholders’ networking would be accorded realistic approaches at the Day-Out.
PBAN is a body of professional entrepreneurs who have ventured into the breadmaking business with the objective of giving Nigerians quality products for healthy living and economic enhancement.
