Pastor Arrested For Killng S’x Worker For Rituals In Kogi State (Photos)

An acclaimed Pastor of the Voice Of Cannan Temple Church, Ozuri, Adavi Local government area of Kogi State, Mr Segun has been arrested for the murder of a prostitute for ritual purposes.

It is alleged that Pastor Segun picked the s’x hawker who is said to be from Benue State, from a popular Hotel called Hollywood. He took her to a secluded spot in a bush behind his church and beheaded her. He also severed her hands and legs.

The pastor was apprehended alongside his accomplices, Mr Mike And Stephen, who claimed to be his boys and church members.

In the earlier hours of today, the D.P.O of Police led the Administrator, Hon Joseph Omuya Salami, accompanied by some of his political appointees, the media team, and the APC Campaign chairman Kogi, Hon. Osundo, to the crime scene which was found close to his church in Ozuri.

The D.P.O showed his entourage the spot where the suspect had beheaded the victim, severed her hands and legs and buried the butchered corpse in a shallow gave.

When they got to the scene at Ozuri community, the air was filled with the stench of the decomposing corpse but it didn’t stop hundreds of residents of the area from showing up to catch a glimpse of the incident. The decomposing corpse was retrieved and taken to be buried properly.

Hon Joseph Omuya Salami described the act as the highest level of wickedness, stressing that “man killing man” is an abomination.

He added that ritual killing is in non biblical, inhumane, unacceptable and should be totally condemned.

He stressed that those involved in such practices must pay the price by law.

He further lauded the effort of the D.P.O and the security agencies of the state for the effort they had put into apprehending the suspects.
