Last night, more COVID-19 palliatives were discovered inside the Cross River State Ministry of Works complex on Ekorinim Road in Calabar.
A large crowd stormed the ministry’s premises, after emptying all the warehouses, some hoodlums also entered the main offices carted away with everything and burnt the whole place down, all the cars parked outside were also set ablaze.
This incident occurred despite the 24-hour curfew imposed in the state by the Governor of Cross River, Professor Ben Ayade on Friday following the hijacking of the peaceful protest against police brutality in the state by hoodlums.
