Ondo State Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has paid former political workplace holders, two out of the seven months wage arrears owed by the Olusegun Mimiko administration.
The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Media and Publicity, Mr. Ojo Oyewamide who disclosed this in Akure, mentioned Akeredolu believes that ” a employee deserves his wages.”
“Today, two months of the seven months wage arrears owed political workplace holders by the instant previous administration had been paid.
“It is according to the assumption of Akeredolu that the employee deserves his wages. This is even because the governor’s dedication to the welfare of all staff within the public service stays unwavering.
“All other outstanding financial commitments of government shall be prioritised and met in line with available resources,” he mentioned.
